Cherry Blossoms!

This past weekend was the peak of the Cherry Blossoms in DC!  We missed going last year, so Friday after work we met up and walked around the Tidal Basin.  There were loads and loads of people walking the trails and photographing the trees - it was crazy to think that so many tourists come for this festival!

The blossoms definitely made for some picturesque scenery!  In the photo below you can see all of the people along the path by the water.

We walked the entire tidal basin, and then caught the metro to Alexandria for some tasty Thai food.  Its definitely weekends like this where its great to be in DC!
